I tried to imply that Bilbo was invisible but not sure that it has worked.

PS* The invisibility part was/is a problem. I can't have Bilbo totally invisible because there would just be a dragon on its own. I wanted to show Bilbo even though he is invisible for several reasons...Smaugs sense of scale for one. I may need to come back to Bilbo and see if I can find a better way of implying that he is invisible.

Although I don't know about Bilbo looking invisible.... the first thing I thought when I looked at this was, "Wasn't Bilbo invisible in this scene?"

Very nice! I'm not sure the invisibility comes across. Especially since Smaug seems to be looking right at him. But Smaug does look really wicked!
