After a hard days work hunting down the witch population the witchfinder general likes nothing better than to come home to a nice cup of tea. Of course, he has a captive witch to do his tea making...perks of the job. Replacement witch slaves are always on the cards as these ladies of the night like nothing better than to spike his tea with dead mice.

Don't ask! And yes I do love my tea but in no way is the witchfinder general moi!!!! HONESTLY!

This took me ages to do and I have decided enough is enough, no more tinkering, I shall leave it as it is.

about 3-4 weeks on and off (and I do mean on and off)

P.S you can hardly see the mice and small details!!!! You need to see it at full size. I may upload close ups of various parts...anyway there are 6 mice!


EDIT! I was not expecting the ridiculous amount of messages I got and although I tried to reply to everyone it just got too mad in the end HAHAHA! So if I didnt say thank you I say it now THANK YOU for your kind responses! I really do appreciate it! Now that the madness has died down I will be able to get back to answering my 1or 2 messages a day lol

The wonderful details, which include but are certainly not limited to, of the patchwork on the witch's dress, to the cats in the background, to the challenge of finding the 6 mice he presents us with, are a feast for the eyes. well i think this is more dark fantasy than horror...I'm not too sure! I do like things to be darker (who doesn't) I know I have a really sick painting in me somewhere hahaha

Wow. Tastee! I like that patcwork on her outfit. I especially like the copper rendering you did on the pots. Not too many people willing to do copper. It's most chrome or silver...maybe iron.

I consider myself something of a tea expert. Would you say she's enjoying a nice English Tea (which is basically an Assam ground down into fine chunks) with Milk and sugar? Or isn't a nice zesty Yunnan with milk?

Maybe it'll have a squeeze of lemming <snicker> :giggle:

Its PG Tips! English tea through and through lol!

As for the copper, I did have a bitch of a time trying to get that colour right! Was either going too brown, too red or too gold!the red was the worst though. I am still not happy with the underside of the frying pan though.

PG Tips. I think I have...Mark & Spencer or Twinings...dear god...I have Biggalow yuk!

My personal fav is a tea called Golden Monkey. You can get it from Harney and Sons.

Well I think you did a rather marvy job on the copper!

I just noticed that the black cat is a slave too.

you have thought of almost every lil detail and succesfully applied them on to your canvas :D
